At the top
Hati chases the Moon across the night sky.
Skalli, his brother, chases the Sun during the day.
(BTW...Skalli is also know as Sköll or Skoll, but I prefer Skalli )
I like Hatis design, but Skalli was horrible to design >_>

In the middle
Geri (left) and Freki (right) are the companions of the god Odin, but also the ravens Hugin and Munin are his companions.
That's why I gave the wolves two feathers, because I've a notion that they're befriended with the ravens XD'

In the middle
Managarm (left) is a dog who devours the meat of the dead ones.
I drew him with floppy ears because I think that was cute (even "cute" is not the right word here...) XD
Garm (right) is a dog with 4 eyes. He guards the entry of hell.
I drew his chest bloody since I once read somewhere that his chest bleeds... >3<

At the bottom
Fenrir/Fenris is a monstrous wolf, even the gods were afraid of him and so they bound him.
I drew him as a shadow creature...I hate to color with black, it always turns out bad >_>


On Ragnarök (End of the world) Garm will blast his chains, Hati will face the moon and Managarm will swallow it. The blood of the moon will drip and cover the sun and in the end Skalli will eat it. And also Fenrir will set himself free...
There are also different version, but this is my fav...

They will only appear in tales...or maybe not?!
